The Cataracts
Frequently missed by hikers looking for Dunn Falls or the Appalachian Trial, The Cataracts is a series of falls, slides, and flumes that you can experience as you follow the trail up Frye Brook just west of the town of Andover, Maine.
While none of the falls are the largest or most spectacular in Maine, the fact that you have this many types of falls in one place, along with a few good swimming holes, makes this an extraordinary day trip.
