My name is Richard and I'm a professional portrait and landscape photographer from Windham, Maine, USA.
My specialty is creating images that capture the iconic beauty and spirit of the State of Maine.
Maine is my home and my inspiration.
From the untamed wilderness of Maine’s North Woods, to the rugged coastline Downeast, and the majesty of Baxter State Park and Acadia National Park, there’s enough to keep a landscape photographer busy for a lifetime.
And then there’s the People of Maine. With their deep connection to nature, strong sense of community, and resilient spirit, Mainers are known for their independence and resourcefulness - traits honed by living in a state with rugged coastlines, dense forests, and harsh winters. Despite the challenges of our environment, Mainers tend to be warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring with a strong emphasis on neighborly support, where helping one another is not just an expectation but a way of life.
These are the traits that inspire me and push me to create images of people that are honest and show you as who you truely are.
About Me and My Work
I have been a part time photographer for over 20 years and have experience photographing Portraits and Professional Head Shots; Couples, Engagements, and Weddings; Youth, High School, College, and Professional Sports; Landscapes; Wildlife; and, most recently, Theater.
You can find my photographs hanging in homes and businesses throughout Maine and New England with some pieces as far away as Florida, Michigan, and California.
